Warm Chocolate Cake with berry sauce

3/4 cup sugar 1/4 cup vegtable oil 1/4 cup PLAIN fat-free yogurt 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 3 large egg whites(Whites only.) 1/2 cup all purpose flour 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa(I prefer Droste or Guirdelli) 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon baking powder Cooking spray Ripe or Frozen thawed unsweetened Rasperries(about 1 pint)


Directions

1.Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
2.Combine first 5 ingredients in a medium bowl;beat at medium speed in a mixer until well-blended. Combine flour, 1/3 cup cocoa,salt,and baking powder;
stir well. Add flour mixture to sugar mixture,beating just until blended. 3.Pour batter into a 9-inch round cake pan coated with cooking spay.
Bake for about 25 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.

(While baking go to part 4.)

Cool in pan 10 minutes;remove from pan,and slice into wedges.
4.put berries in a food processor. Blend until completely pureed. Push berries through a sieve into a bowl until all berries are strained of seeds.
Put into a squeeze bottle and drizzle on plates under slices of still warm cake. OR,Drizzle with spoon onto plate. You only want to add enough to add color and flavor,don't drown the cake.
You may also add a mango sauce or vanilla custard sauce to contrast color. Also you may opt to add whipped cream. (I like to serve it with powdered sugar sifted on top.)
