1.Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
2.Combine first 5 ingredients in a medium bowl;beat at medium speed in a mixer
until well-blended. Combine flour, 1/3 cup cocoa,salt,and baking powder;
stir well. Add flour mixture to sugar mixture,beating just until blended.
3.Pour batter into a 9-inch round cake pan coated with cooking spay.
Bake for about 25 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.

Cool in pan 10 minutes;remove from pan,and slice into wedges.
4.put berries in a food processor. Blend until completely pureed.
Push berries through a sieve into a bowl until all berries are
strained of seeds.
Put into a squeeze bottle and drizzle on plates under slices of still warm cake. OR,Drizzle with spoon onto plate.

You may also add a mango sauce or vanilla custard sauce to contrast color. Also you may opt to add whipped cream.
(I like to serve it with powdered sugar sifted on top.)
